Pathfinders Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area, Inc. is a spark plug for economic development, natural resource conservation and recreation in its six-county area.
RC&D is rooted in the concept that local people know what their communities need and can create solutions that work. RC&D is an incubator for local ideas to find ways to get things done.

The Pathfinders council is led by volunteers representing sponsoring organizations in the multi-county region.
Council directors volunteer
their time to address important issues in our communities.
Pathfinders RC&D serves Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Van Buren
and Wapello counties in southeast Iowa by working on a variety of
local
projects.
